Portuguese-IsiZulu Language Exchange Program

At Quent, we’re always looking for ways create new connections, and open doors to meaningful opportunities. That’s why we’re thrilled to partner with the Federal University of Bahia in Brazil.

This program, designed for isiZulu-speaking youth is all about fostering cross-cultural dialogue and enhancing language skills. Participants will have the chance to learn Portuguese, one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, while also sharing their knowledge of isiZulu with Brazilian peers who will be taking isiZulu lessons. We believe this exchange will lead to meaningful friendships, cultural appreciation, and an increased understanding of Africa’s ties with Latin America.

Prof. Milan Puh worked closely with Nokukhanya Zulu to ensure that this collaboration was mutually benificial and fostered conversations about collaborations across the Global South. This program isn’t just about language; it’s about building confidence, sharpening communication skills, and understanding diverse perspectives. With each session, participants will expand their linguistic abilities and gain insights into different cultural and professional contexts—tools that are invaluable in today’s interconnected world.

If you would like to be a part of the next collaboration, kindly connect with us via email on info@quentcommunications.com .
